Our logo is filled with meanings that correspond to our business. While we have many passions when it comes to photography, our primary focus, in terms of commercial work, is architecture. Our logo has many traits that are representative of this.

The triangle is seen in architecture throughout the world. It is a symbol of Strength and Stability. This is why it is seen in many residential homes, along with many other uses of commercial structures. The triangle is repeated throughout history and was one of the earliest shapes used within architecture, going back as far as Ancient Egyptian pyramids and Neolithic mud huts/homes.

Inside our triangular logo are many other references. The independent shapes within can be viewed as a corner of a room, the corner of a building, or even two connecting buildings rising to meet the sky, which is a common abstract architectural composition.

The shapes are also representative of a shutter/diaphragm that is closing within the camera.

The values located in the triangle can be seen as lighting ratios that would be present during a typical architectural shoot or a product shoot done in studio.

The lines within also create an abstraction that spells out the initials of our company, Jacob Mollohan Photography. The lines even create abstract letters to spell ART! No matter what we are photographing the key to our success is to be artistic!

The monochromatic blues are representative of our business values to include security, loyalty, trust, and reliability.
